Crusader

$489.00

The Crusader is our flagship, do it all, large blade. It is made from 1/4″ thick cryogenic differential tempered 1095 steel. Similar to ancient Samurai swords, differential tempering allows for a blade to have a softer temper on the spine allowing for more flex and making a stronger overall blade. This way of tempering also allows for a harder more ridged cutting surface that cuts better and holds its edge longer.  Few blades receive this type of treatment because of the time and skill involved, but when done properly it makes for a virtually indestructible and incredibly functional blade.
